<p> Ever dream of gracing the pages of Glamour? Or slinking
down runways in overpriced micro-minis? To make it in the
high-swank world of haute-couture modeling, you've got to be
stunning, statuesque and stick-thin. But apparently you don't
have to be female. Just ask LYPSINKA, a.k.a. John Epperson, the
6-ft. 1-in. cross-dressed darling of the New York City theater
scene. In his popular one man/woman shows, the garishly clad
performer offers hilarious lip-synched send-ups of dopey songs
favored by fabled and forgotten divas of the '50s. So gorgeously
glitzy is his alter ego that designers and photographers seem
bent on turning him into the next Paulina Porizkova. Having
already appeared in Thierry Mugler fashion shows in Paris and
Tokyo, Lypsinka just finished a shoot for Esquire in which he
donned ball gowns styled by the legendary Valentino. Jokes
Lypsinka: "During the past year, my lifelong dream of becoming
a fashion model has been realized."
